This is an estimate, not a quote. County charges are based on the Maricopa County Recorder fee schedule, verified August 2026. Counties change fees without notice, and the recorder may apply charges that depend on the document itself — extra indexed names, non-conforming pages, multiple references, or a non-standard format. The amount the clerk charges when the document is recorded is the final amount. You receive one itemized invoice before anything is filed, and nothing is submitted until you approve it.

Documentary, transfer, and other statutory taxes are not included in this estimate. When taxes are due on your document, the total will be higher. Charges not calculated here: Plats and surveys, each additional page — $20.00.

How the estimate is built

County charges

Taken from each recorder's published fee schedule, with the source and the date we last checked it shown on every county page.

Our flat fee

$58 per submission, whatever the document or the county. There is no account fee, no monthly minimum, and no per-page markup.

The final amount

The clerk sets the real figure when the document records. You approve one itemized invoice first — nothing is filed before you do.

County fee pages

Full fee schedules, formatting rules, and recorder contact details.
