- • Texas recording fees are set by Local Government Code 118.011 and are largely uniform statewide, so the $25 first page and $4 per additional page apply across Texas counties.
- • The separate $1.00 document filing fee was repealed statewide effective January 1, 2024 — fee tables predating that change overstate the total.
- • Texas has no state documentary transfer tax on deeds.
